Happy Friday!
I am SO glad that it is Friday – this has been a very long week, despite being a short work week! I have a card to share with you using My Favorite Things Christmas Selfies and it was made for the "made in minutes" AAA challenge that has a twist – Christmas in July.

I knew the Christmas Selfies set would be perfect for a made in minutes Christmas themed challenge. It's so easy to stamp and die-cut and I did some very fast coloring. This is where the blog candy comes in! I was in such a rush to make sure I got this card stamped, die-cut, colored and assembled in less than 10 minutes that it was only when I came to process the photo for this challenge that I saw I had made a mistake! So as the theme for the challenge is Christmas in July – what better way to celebrate my error than with a little gift!
how to win the blog candy: Can you spot the mistake? Leave me a comment on this blog post telling me what you think it is and I will draw from all of the correct answers. You will have until 7/17 midnight est to leave a message and I will keep reminding you :-) I have a collection of stamping goodies to send to the winner. I will share a sneak peek of what's in the goodie bag in tomorrow's post 🙂
Now… here's my card:
Isn't that the cutest face? I love this set and it will feature prominently in my Christmas cards this year. I also love that this sentiment can be used to send Christmas related cards that aren't specifically Merry Christmas related.
On a personal note:
The heat has finally broken and we are at slightly lower temps and there is a slight breeze to help cool things down. I'm sitting on the deck – in the shade – as I write this blog post. It's the first time in a few days that we have been able to sit outside and enjoy the late afternoon. I'll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, here's a photo of what has been visiting the feeders:
The Robin was having a quick snack and filling up to go feed babies:
Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

The bow on the ornament/balloon is upside down. But whose to argue that an adorable elf doesn’t like the bows that way?!
I agree with Margaret . . . did you compose the stamp in several steps? The elf is sooooooooooooooooooo cute!!!
Great fun card but I think the whole image is upside down.
Love the robin too, quite apt for this Christmas card today!
If anything, it’s the bow is upside down. Love your robin picture. We have very different robins in Delaware. Enjoy your day!
I see no mistakes 😉 it’s all fab even if upside down. Thank you for playing at AAA Cards
I think the elf image is upside down. According to the ornament it should probably be hanging down instead of up….but no matter it is so cute!! Hope you have a relaxing week end.
The elf must be hanging from his knees, so I think the whole stamped image is upside down. Cute card for some holiday laughter. tfs
Oh that’s a super card design and I love your cheeky elf. Thanks for playing at AAA Cards, hope to see you join in with future challenges too. Stay safe and keep crafting!
The hand holding the ornament looks like his left hand. The thumb doesn’t match to be the right thumb. Very cute card.
Love the card… I believe the elf image is supposed to be rotated 180° so that he’s hanging upside down- so the ornament looks like an ornament instead of a balloon. 🙂 He’s still cute, even with a minor mistake.
Oh my goodness – I don’t think I’ve seen that image before – what a fun elf! Thanks for playing along with us at AAA Cards!
