Happy Thursday.
We have another great challenge for you across at Time Out this week and we are all being inspired by a fabulous photo taken by our very own DT member Deepti. We are also sponsored by Doodlebugs this week who is offering a $25 store credit for the winner of our challenge!
This week we are also joined by the very talented CAS designer Fran from MadeInOregon. Fran was the winner of our challenge 307 and has made a wonderful dreamy creation for our challenge this week. I hope you will check it out.
As for me, I was inspired to create a sunset background and used a set that I won from TO about a year or so ago. I absolutely love this set. It’s made by Claire Brennan and is called Mid Mod City.
Here’s a sneak peek:

Here’s Deepti’s inspiration photo for you:

You can see a larger photo on our challenge site. There you can really see all the detail!
I began by heat embossing the urban scene with black embossing powder and then set about creating the sunset background. I added the sentiment in white to contrast with the darker background. So, a clean and simple one layer card!
Here’s my full card:

I hope you will join us this week. We would love to see what YOU create with our inspiration photo. As a reminder we are generously sponsored by Doodlebugs:

I’ll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

I so love this card, Jaydee. What a fabulous take on the inspiration, and what a great way to use this urban image. I love your sunset colors and the white sentiment is perfect.
Jaydee, this is gorgeous! The sunset is beautiful and I really like the silhouette of the city!! Fabulous card to inspire the people who want to play along in this challenge!
Beautiful blending! Your City makes a perfect stamp to use on this skyline — very dramatic
This is so gorgeous, Jaydee!! Love the beautifiul sky background you have created. Hugsxx
Your ink blending is fabulous, Jaydee. The city was a great way to represent the bridge in the photo.
Beautiful Jaydee! it is a great stamp and just perfect take on this photo challenge. Adding the sentiment in white embossing is a clever addition and helps it to pop! I hope you have a lovely day! 🙂
