Concord & 9th Silly Goose for Addicted to CAS Challenge #307

Happy Saturday.

Our hostess Vicki has chosen a great code word for our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and I had fun creating a card I made using the Silly Goose set from Concord and 9th. I don’t know, but there is something about these silly little geese that just make me smile!

Here’s a sneak peek

So, can you tell me that silly goose with the pink birthday hat doesn’t make you smile:-)

Here’s our challenge badge for this week:

My card came together pretty quickly thanks to the dies from Concord and 9th and the frame from an old MFT set.

I die-cut the photo frame from black cardstock twice and adhered them both together. I then die-cut the geese using fog cardstock and the additions like the party hat, flower, etc. were die-cut with white cardstock and colored using Copic markers. I colored the background to the photoframe green and then tucked the geese into the frame.

I added some pink hearts on the card base and then adhered the photoframe with another two layers of cardstock to raise it from the card base.

Here’s my full card:

I hope you will join our challenge this week. We would love to see what YOU create.

I’ll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Card recipe:

  • Photo frame – My Favorite Things
  • Geese dies: Silly Goose – Concord and 9th

Hugs
