Happy Sunday.
It’s my turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it’s theme week. I chose to celebrate all of those feminine peeps in our lives. I mean, who doesn’t want an excuse to make a feminine card and share it! So, get out all of the goodies you consider feminine and put them to good use by playing along with our challenge:-)
I chose to make an interactive card using Altenew’s World in Bloom dies and the Stamp Market interactive Slider Card die to create my card. Oh I also used the Wanderlust embossing folder!
Here’s a sneak peek:

I also paired all of these things with some background map patterned paper that I got as a freebie from a Scrapbook.com order. I’ve been hoarding it for the right occasion and the colors of the paper, as well as the map, worked well for my card!
Here’s our challenge for this week:

This card too a little time to put together because of all the die-cut elements. I began with the flowers and colored them with Copic markers over colored cardstock. I die-cut the globe and assembled that. I then arranged the florals on the globe.
Next was the base. I die-cut the interactive layer from some Chiffon cardstock that I had run through my machine with the Wanderlust embossing folder.
The pull piece was cut from 110# Neenah cardstock.
Here’s the front of my card in the closed position:

Next, I had to work on the bits behind the easel.

Well, all it needed was a simple but meaningful sentiment. The last thing was to add a little pink heart which is placed somewhat close to where we live!
I hope you will join us and play along with our challenge. We really would love to see what YOU create. As always the design team have some fabulous inspiration:
I’ll be back later in the week with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Card recipe:
