Concord & 9th Toast Time for Addicted to CAS Challenge #

Happy Saturday.

It’s the fabulous Nancy’s turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and her code word inspired me to bring out my Toast Time dies from Concord and 9th. One of the things I love about Concord and 9th is that there themes are often really original and fun. This set is no exception!

Here’s our code word for this week:

When I was looking for supplies, I realized I didn’t have a lot that could be used for anniversaries. I could have used some florals and maybe a couple of other sets, but I decided that there are some couples I would rather send a fun card to and this set met the brief.

Here’s a sneak peek:

I began with an alabaster base and used the Altenew Checkerboard Tiles stencil to create some interest in the background and to also help ground my focal image. I used a soft subtle pink for that. Yep… pink AGAIN!

I then die-cut the elements for my focal image – avocado on toast with a slice of tomato and aged balsamic glaze! Nothing wrong with that for a snack, I can tell you!

I stamped the fun sentiment, die-cut it and added it to the card. I added the congratulations stamp on the “napkin” and adhered the elements to it.

Here’s my fun, clean and simple, anniversary card:

As always we would love to see what YOU create using the anniversary prompt. I’ll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card.

In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Card recipe:

  • Dies and stamps: Toast Time – Concord & 9th
  • Background stencil: Checkerboard – Altenew
