Happy Sunday.
It’s the fabulous Christy’s turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week, and it’s color week! Christy has a bright selection of colors that I put to use on the Concord and 9th Tweet Life set.

I have no idea why I decided that I should use THIS particular set with THESE colors – but my mind works in mysterious ways 🙂
I stamped all of the birds using the colors from the challenge (or shades thereof) and added the bits and ieces in black. I wanted to anchor the sentiment a little, so I separated it from my main image with a circle cut in vellum from the Spotlight on Nature dies and then added the pre-made sentiments from Waffle Flower on top. I backed the front panel onto a black base and the card was complete.

Seriously…. this is such a fun set and I apologize to the pink bird in the bottom left for covering his head:-)

On a personal note:
I’m currently attending the Concord and 9th Summer Camp and I have to say this is the most fun I’ve had at any card making virtual event. I was enjoying myself so much that I forgot about loading my card today! I’ll be back with another card tomorrow. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Oh my word… but these birds are gorgeous! Your colouring of them is superb and then there’s that punny little sentiment, complete with a little vellum circle to hold it in line. Wonderful!
