Happy Tuesday.
Well, it rained again this morning – so here I am back in my craft room. I went looking for some challenges to inspire me and saw the BABY challenge across at CAS on Friday and the CUTE ANIMALS theme from Simply Clean and Simple. Looking through my stash I don’t have a lot of baby themed sets, but this Winnie the Pooh Baby – Peek a Boo set from Spellbinders was perfect and it has the perfect sentiments to go with it.
Creating the card was easy. I stamped the pooh and balloon image and colored them with my Copic markers. I stamped the sentiments and then decided to place a mat behind the focal image to match the balloon. I popped up the focal and mat layers with a couple of pieces of extra cardstock to give them just a little depth.
Here’s my baby/cute animals card:
Such a sweet image and such a wonderful sentiment. I decided to use a turquoise color rather than blue or pink to make it more universal and, the color contrasted well with Pooh 🙂
I know that the talented design teams at both challenge sites would love it if you played along. The added bonus is that there is lots of fabulous inspiration for you 🙂
