Happy Sunday, again!
I have a quick post for you tonight. I managed to escape to the cool of my craft room and make some cards this afternoon. I went looking for some inspiration and found exactly what I was looking for at AtlanticHearts
For some reason the minute I saw this sketch I thought of the SU set Free as a Bird. I paired it with some retired SU DSP and a couple of gold leaves/flowers that came in an old Paper Pumpkin set. I stamped and colored the birds in a way that I thought complimented the pinks and greys of the base and used my Crimped Border die from The Greetery.

I know I keep saying this, but I really do love this set and it's one that will always be with me! I had fun playing along with the sketch because it forced me out of my comfort zone. I like the Navy sentiment instead of black because I feel it is softer with the colors of the birds and base.
I'll be back tomorrow with another card that I made. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
