Golden Flowers – Addicted to CAS #135

 Hi Everyone.

Happy Saturday.

It's the fabulous Carolyn's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and she has a color code word for us!

Now…. most of us girls love gold… so I was happy to have an excuse to pull out my wonderful Kuretake shimmery metallic watercolor paints!

I started by heat embossing the flower and then add the watercolor gold to the flowers and leaves.  It was a really easy card to create.  I mounted the front panel onto a piece of Shimmer Gold card stock from Stampin' Up!  I love this card stock and have managed to keep it stashed away for special occasions 🙂

This is one of the cards that is going into the post today to the card drive that Altenew is having for parents Day.

Here's my card:

Extra Special ATCAS (1 of 1)

I hope you will join us and play along this week.  If you do, and you are chosen as the winner.  Then the fabulous Kylie has a prize for you as Happy Little Stampers is our Sponsor, and Kylie is generously awarding the winner with a $20.00 GC to the store!

if you are looking for some inspiration, you have to look no further than the amazing creations from our ever so talented design team.

I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card – and some photos.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift today.
Hugs
Jaydee

  1. Love this beautiful card, Jaydee! It must be stunning in person to catch the glimmer paper and your watercoloring. Enjoy your day!

  2. Beautiful card, Jaydee! I love the simple embossed flowers and the way it displays the richness of the cardstock and the design at the same time!
