Holly Jolly Christmas

Hi Everyone.  Happy Thursday night.

Quick post for you tonight.

The clean and simple challenge across at splitcoaststampers used a 4 up quadrant.  Now..it was in the shape of the window… but the thing about it…. it still had 4 quadrants.   I looked through my Christmas sets and decided that I really.. really… wanted to use the bells from the Boughs and Holly set.  This set is from the new holiday mini.

I've also used a lot of Cherry Cobbler and decided it was time to go back to using the more traditional colors of Garden Green and Real Red.  I really enjoyed coloring in the bells.

I was really happy with the card and love the mixture of the Real Red, gold embossing powder, gold cord and the bells.

On a personal note….. boy… it was cold here today.  I spent the whole day putting on a cardigan and taking off the cardigan.  and putting it back on again.  If I was feeling cold, I can only imagine what Brenda was feeling!  Fall is definitely on the way.  I am hoping to get a little time in my stamping space this weekend and maybe get another video done.

As always prayers for Trish, Germaine, T, Pri, Arthur (Brenda, how did the doctor visit go?), John and Sue and Lesley and Cyrus.

Thank you so much for spending time in my little area of the stamping blogosphere.  You know your visits and your support are much appreciated.

Have a fabulous Friday.

Hugs

Jaydee

  1. I love your use of traditional colors here, Jaydee. And, I really love gold with red. This is a lovely card. :o)
Could you send some of that cool weather my way, please??

  2. Very pretty!I like the way you cut out all the bells and mounted them on the squares. Beautiful!
Hard to believe Christmas is just a few months away!

  3. WOW! This card is absolutely beautiful and the gold embossing makes it pop! Please send some of your cool weather to VA.

  4. Cute! I know, cute sounds like a strange adjective for such a classy card with gold embossing…but there is just something about the holly and bells in the “windows” that looked happy to me! I LOVE it!

  5. What a beautiful card Jaydee, the coloring is amazing as is the precision cut outs! You have soooo much more patience than I do.
Rach, I sure wish we could ship this weather off to you, I HAD to wear pants yesterday–I HATE wearing long pants!! I’m happily back to shorts and fleece today. Jaydee, can you believe Brenda got warm enough to take of her jacket and gloves during our run last evening? I’m looking forward to the nice temps this weekend.
Have a great Friday One & All-and extra thoughts and prayers to my cyber friends in need.
