I adore you happy birthday

Happy Tuesday

So, thank you to all of you who encouraged me with the loose watercolor technique in this card.  You all inspired me to try another card with it!  I went looking for some challenges and found

the inspiration for inked/sprayed backgrounds at Just us Girls and monochromatic at The Flower Challenge

As this was a floral challenge, I began with an old Atenew set called I adore you.  I took a piece of Arches hot pressed water color paper and inked the background with gold water color and then stamped and loosely watercolored the flowers and leaves.  I fussy cut the elements and placed them on the card base.

Here's my card:

Adore You (1 of 1)

It was incredibly sunny when I took this photograph, so it might look a little odder than normal!  But it really is a mixture of shades of brown.  I added some splatters to the base and ran the base through my die cutting machine with the Postal Frames die from The Greetery.

I will be back with another card tomorrow.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee
