Happy Wednesday
I have a quick post for you – my second of the day! I wanted to share a quick card I made using the gorgeous inspiration photos across at Daring Cardmakers. This gorgeous mood board inspired me to ink up one of my old Stampin' Up favorites – Wetlands. It's one of those set that will always be in my stash. Here's the mood board:
You will see from my card that I was inspired by the colors, the wheat grass and the birds. The Wetlands set was just the perfect set for this challenge.
Here's my card:
I used a stitched rectangle to cut out the center piece and stamped the grasses on it. I then used three layers of cardstock behind the center panel to lift it just a little. I stamped the sentiment and mounted it on foam squares and placed the whole thing on an Early Espresso layer.
I'll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Gorgeous card. Wetlands is my go to for masculine birthdays and sympathy. Well, anything really. You did a beautiful job on the background. Thanks.
Doris, it is the perfect set for masculine and sympathy cards. There is such a serenity about it that I love. That’s why it will stay with me for ever, I think 🙂
