I’m Back and Joyce’s OWH showcase

Hi Everyone.

We are back!  We had the most amazing 2 weeks and I can't wait to share some of the happenings with you over the next week or so.  I want to say thank you to all of you who came by everyday and read the posts and commented.  It means such a great deal to me.

The picture that I posted for the Poppy Day post last night, was one of the ones that I took at the DD Cemetery in Bayeux, France.  It was an incredibly emotional time standing amongst the grave markers.  But more about that later in the week.

I'm sorry that I wasn't able to get back to all of you, and for the couple of small glitches we had.  The connection on the ship was incredibly slow…. something that normally takes 30 seconds for me to do at home was taking 9 minutes.  It took 15 minutes each day to log on, release the showcase for you and log off.  Painfully slow – oh yeah, and the ship charges 55c+ per minute!  Consequently, I wasn't able to respond as frequently as I normally do.

However, I am pleased that you all enjoyed the wonderful showcases so far.

Tonight, I have the pleasure of showcasing Joyce's OWH cards.  Joyce provided the troops with a great selection of cards – from more sophisticated to cute and classy.  I know that you will enjoy looking at her cards and find something to case.  So – huge THANK YOU to Joyce – you rock!  I know the troops and their families are going to love the fabulous cards that you created.

Now – all the rest of you have to do is pop along to the link, take a look at the fabulous cards and remember to leave a little love for Joyce.

All you need to do is double-click on the pic below and it should take you to Joyce's gallery.  BTW.. I loved this card – I loved the butterflies and the sponged background… fabulous!

Once all the galleries have been reviewed, I will set up a separate page with a single link to the galleries that you can use for future reference.

I am so pleased that you enjoyed seeing the galleries displayed this way.  Doing it this way allowed me to make it easier for you to access my web page without having to wait for all the pics to reveal, it also gave me the ability to showcase more cards – and an easy access for you to bookmark any galleries you were particularly partial to.

Now… I am off to go cook dinner.  Lots of things happened over the last week whilst we were away, but I won't bore you will all of those things now!

Prayers as always for those of you who need them, or who need a little lift.  Brenda, so pleased to hear that Arthur's procedure went well – thanks to Bethany for updating us.  Rose – my *mom* is doing well.  She should begin treatment in the next couple of days, so thanks to those of you who added her to your prayer list.  Nicole, thank you for your email – we do still miss Trish.

Don't forget – smile – it may change someome's life.

Hugs

Jaydee
