Hi Everyone…. Happy Saturday Night!
It's felt so like fall these last few weeks that I felt compelled to load a Fall card. (Although… it was in the low 90s with 83% humidity today!) I really love this Stampin Up Inspired by Nature set and decided to pull out an old MojoMonday challenge to create this card.
I really wanted an organic feel to the image and I think the techniques really accomplished that. If you like this card then you should check an older post here.
Card stock:
Naturals Ivory, More Mustard, Always Artichoke and the retired Patterns Pack II
Inks:
More Mustard, Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke for the leaves/stems (all markers)
On a personal note: I've been itching to try my new goodies that UPS delivered… however, what with my DH's birthday yesterday and the fact that we are taking up the carpet in my stamping space… well, technically, we are taking up the carpet in the whole basement – where my stamping space is housed! Now… I like my things in their place and right now they are all over the place. Even finding the remote for the TV was a problem this evening! Getting rid of the carpet and staining the concrete is going to be fantastic…. but boy, I really didn't need a workout after we'd finished today. I know it will be worth it in the end…. but …… I think most of you can understand how I feel 🙂
For those of you who know how I feel…. take a trip over to my friend (and fellow demonstrator) Jean Fitch's site. She has loaded the Stamping Addict Poem – oh boy! did I see myself in that. In fact, I read it aloud to my hubby who ended up rolling on the floor with laughter saying that he wanted to have it framed and put on his desk so that his co-workers could understand his "situation". Stamping Addict Poem
As always, thank you for spending time in my little area of the stamping blogosphere. Have a fabulous Sunday – filled with laughter, love and joy.

Hey Jaydee,
Thanks for the referel sis! And boy oh boy can I relate to your “workout”. The same day you worked on the carpet I worked with my brother in law clearing the back pasture of a years worth of 3-4 foot high weeds. Luckily he did the hardest bits and the DR trimmer provided most of the muscle still it got my “spring” cleaning launched so I can get the house on the market in relatively decent shape. The following day was getting ready for a “dump” run and now I’m taking the kitchen apart and hopefully putting it back together. Want to exchange liniment recipes? Boy do I wish I had a hubbie around to share the work (rolling on the floor laughing or not!). I hope said hubs didn’t pick up any carpet tacks while rolling around down there 😀
And of course you’ll have to come up with a gorgeous stamped frame for his copy of the addicts poem right?
Hugs and blessing from a sister in addiction – Jean
