Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday.
I made a card for Curtain Call. Ooops…. I made it for the challenge that had already finished! Well, never mind – I enjoyed playing along with the colors and have just the person who will appreciate this card.
Here's the challenge inspiration photo:
I loved all the texture on the photo and decided that I would try to incorporate that into my card. I took my bubbles stencil from FunStampersJourney and combined some white embossing paste with some lime green distress ink. Whilst the background was drying, I stamped the image of the cups and went to town having fun coloring them in. Once the background was dry, I finished up the elements of my card.
Here's my take on the challenge:
Oh…and I had fun with the inside, too!
On a personal note:
OK… Can someone please send back Spring? I know someone has it and I want it back :-) It's freezing here and VERY windy and even the birds that arrived are wondering what on earth they are doing here. Oh..and talking about birds arriving… Lou saw the Bluebirds today! Yes, a pair of BlueBirds arrived and were in our garden. What the heck they think they are going to eat I don't know. Lou immediately rushed out and put out some dried worms for them. We are hoping they see them and stick around. Blue Birds are always very welcome in our garden.
As I don't have a photo of a Blue Bird to show you – how about I share a photo I took this weekend whilst sitting on the porch – when the weather was above 70!
Isn't he a pretty little thing? They live in the White Cedar tree in our front yard and have over-wintered with us. They really are very sweet little birds.
Whilst we were standing on the deck at the back of the house – enjoying the warmth….. look who woke up! Yep… first time we have seen Charlies nemesis since November and he was doing exactly what we were doing…. catching some rays in a sheltered place
I'll be back on Friday with another card and some more photos for those of you who visit my blog for that purpose :-) In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

We went from temperatures in the 50s (F) to a couple of inches of snow and bek
Low freezing temperatures overnight. Yes it may have been “too early for spring” (roll eyes), its really awful to go backwards! I like your card – really cute stencil!
Such pretty pictures Jaydee . . . I loved the buds on the branch . . . Spring will soon be there!!
Like that great looking background as well as those cute cups. Great sentiment
As always; I enjoy seeing your nature photos.
At the moment, having thunderstorms moving in otherwise been having some beautiful weather here.
Jaydee, have a wonderful day and better day tomorrow. Stay warm.
Just love your green card!! The raised background is really great and all those green cups. What fun!
Hi Jaydee, I think your green card with the cups is sooo cute. I just ordered the bundle on Sunday. I wasn’t sure about it, but once I made a card at Stamp Camp, I loved it. Is it easy to use the paste? I haven’t tried it yet.
I always look forward to your nature photos and that little chipmunk (?) is so cute.
Our weather is changing daily too, but from cold to lukewarm. We’ve gotten more rain this winter so hope our drought is almost over.
Always, Marsha
