Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday.
It's the fabulous Nance's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a bold, graphic color challenge for us.
I decided that this color scheme deserved some coloring – and I had the perfect digital image. I printed out the image onto Xpress card stock and got to work coloring the image using only these colors.
Here's my card:
The fun part of this card isn't just the outside image – but the sentiment is fabulous!!!!

On a personal note:
Today was amazing…. it was almost 70 degrees. A full 30 degrees higher than normal and we were blessed to hear – and see – whole flocks of Sandhill Cranes coming into the area. Single one. Families of 5 and even a flock of 12 that were led by two babies from last year. They called and soared and rode the thermals. It was incredible. In the 4 years that we have been in our new home – we have never experienced this.
The Robin's are back, too. Spring is definitely on her way …. mind you, we are expecting snow again on Friday… but, I wasn't going to late that stop me hanging out on the deck and just thoroughly enjoying this amazing day.

Well this just made me smile! Absolutely delightful……and I love the sentiment inside as well! Super coloring and I love the embossed brick!
Spring is here in TX. Since moving here from central Il I certainly miss the outdoors. I went from rural to suburbia with some high temps. I love your cards and descriptions of the backyard. They make me smile. Thank you.

I agree with Claire – you definitely cracked me up! Such a clever sentiment that is just so perfectly coloured. The description of the Sandhills cranes was breathtaking – what a site that must have been.
