Let is snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Hi Everyone.  Happy Tuesday night.

Quick post for you tonight as Lou and I have got to meet to go through our finishes on the new home one last time.  Tomorrow we need to sign off on all changes, finishes, etc. before they break ground next week.   So… exciting.  On top of that, it's 7.30pm and I have just finished work.

However, I did want to share a few more photos with you.

I couldn't resist another shot of the chief mischief maker in the house:-)

Mischief3

Seriously, who could resist that face of cuteness 🙂

Then… there is the big mischief maker in the house.  Our very handsome boy Bailey.  He is 16# of hair and gorgeousness.

Mischief 2

He had been sleeping on top of the Christmas shopping when I walked into the laundry.  He woke up and realized that Charlie was running around.  Bailey cannot resist the other cats having a little bit of fun and he was getting ready to join in.  Hence the rather crazed look in his eyes!

Before I share a picture of what Buzbee the new mischief maker was doing when I caught him in the basement last night…. I wanted to share a couple of pics of some of my favorite decorations.   I saw these house/village candles in Pottery Barn a couple of years ago.  I couldn't bear to burn them, but I love to display them every year.  Two years ago I actually covered the mirror with faux snow.  Mmm… the cats ate it!  So, I had to remove it.  So, we are back to the bare mirror.

Candle village

I add the votive holders so that I can at least reflect some light there.  But aren't these candles gorgeous?  Isn't that church with the little bell fabulous?

Here's a closer look

Candle village 2

You can imagine what they looked like surrounded by faux snow!

Now….. some of you may be wondering… what on earth was that little elf Buzbee up to last night.  Seriously, I don't know why he decided to bless our house, but we think we are glad he did :-)  Guess where I caught him last night?  Yep.  In my crafting room and what was he about to do?

Buzbeeribbon

Unravel my ribbon!!!!! Look, he had managed to pull out a container and was trying to open the lid.  I think he and the cats are in cahoots and that he was trying to unravel the ribbon for them to play with.  I quickly took him down and closed my cupboard door.  Which…. mmmm…. makes me wonder… it is way too quiet in the house.  Where is he????  I need to go and check!

Warm hugs and prayers to all that need a little lift tonight.  I hope that everyone has a fabulous Wednesday.  One filled with love and laughter and the joy of the upcoming season.

Hugs

Jaydee

  1. Lil is going to be so chuffed when I show her your blog in the morning. :o) Kitties AND Buzbee? Yup, one tickled kiddo. :o)
You are working mad hours, friend. I’m glad you had an opportunity to take this evening to and be with your sweetie as you finalize your plans for your new home–how exciting!
That Charlie’s face is too sweet. I love his markings. And, my word, that Bailey is indeed one gorgeous animal. As for Buzbee, I now fear for my offudio and the ribbons. ACK! I KNOW he and the cats are in cahoots. I’m doomed!
Your candles are simply beautiful. They are a wonderful little village, quite CAS compared to other villages out there. All that lovely white. So serene. I bet it WAS gorgeous with the snow. The things we sacrifice for kids and pets. ;o)
I hope you have a slightly less hectic day tomorrow.
    Hugs!
P.S. Hi Lou! Have you downloaded “Angry Birds Seasons”? New birds, new pigs, new levels of aggravation. ;o)

  2. 🙂 Kitty pictures always make me smile. Thanks for sharing those; what beautiful babies you have! It is finally a bit cold here and I’ve had at least 1, but usually all 3 of mine curled up with me today. Someone forgot to tell them that they have fur to keep them warm!

  3. I love hearing about Buzbee’s antics. Can’t wait to hear what he is up to today. You’re so clever!! Hugs to you and yours. Be sure to give Bilbo and extra hug from me!

  4. Gorgeous cats and candles! What kind of container do you have your ribbon in? They look great!

  5. Yes do tell us about the ribbon containers. They look like old computer disc storage units.
