Hi Everyone. Happy Monday. I hope you all had a great weekend. We did and sadly tonight is our last day of vacation. It's back to work tomorrow! It's been great having time off relaxing and spending time with Lou!
Tonight I'm sharing Marilyn's EM showcase with you. Marilyn donated a lot of cards to the drive and I had great fun visiting with each and every one of them as I prepped them for delivery to Enchanted Makeovers.
Marilyn's cards were diverse with fabulous use of DSPs, glimmer paper, embossing folders and great colors. She provided a great style of cards ranging from distressed to clean and simple and did a great job of providing general purpose cards, too. I love that she also used a similar layout for some of the cards and changed it around from vertical to horizontal – really clever! Just a couple of changes to the background, the DSP or the focal point and you wouldn't even realize that it was the same layout. I really need to do that!
Once again there were so many great cards to choose from that it was hard to find THE card to place on my blog. In the end I went with this one. I love the use of the postage edge and the fact that Marilyn had turned it into a quilt pattern. That, along with the sentiment, just made the card deliver one big hug. Loved it!
Click on the card below and you should be taken directly to Marilyn's expansive slideshow. I know you will find lots of inspiration and hope that you will leave her a little card love on this blog post.
As always, thank you for visiting my little area of the stamping blogosphere. Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Marilyn, these are all so bright and cheerful! There is such a variety there and so many different styles, it’s wonderful. :o) I was intrigued by that folded Christmas tree, and really liked the citrus-y colored card with the citrus slice. :o)
Thank you for taking the time to photograph and upload them all, Jaydee!
I’m sorry your vacation is over, but so happy you had a chance to take a nice long one with your sweetheart. :o)
