Hi Everyone. Quick product update.
If you are all anything like me, the first thing you are going to want to know is how do these new In Colors compare with our existing colors.
Second question you are going to ask – how do they compare with retired colors. Well, I can help you with the first – but as I gave away all my reitred colored paper to Ronald McDonald, I can't help you with the second.
Let's start with the names of the new In Colors. Remember, these colors are with us for 2 years. Our existing In Colors are still here with us through to the catalog on 2012/2013 – so, another year.
Lucky Limeade
Calypso Coral
Pool Party
Wonderful Wisteria
Island Indigo
Now… lets take a look at them with their relatives!
Our Blues – and I wrote the name of Island Indigo the wrong way around!!! You can see the new Pool Party in the middle and Island Indigo on top.
Then….. the Oranges
Here – Tangerine Tango and Calypso Coral look very similar…… so, I photographed them both separately for you in the pic after this one

For those of you who miss the wonderful Kiwi Kiss…. Lucky Limeade is a good substitute. I didn't have any Kiwi Kiss card stock left, but I did try it with two different Kiwi Kiss ribbons that I had. Kiwi Kiss was more yellow. There is certainly less yellow in the Lucky Limeade and it is an all round softer green. Actually, it's a rather beautiful green.
Pale Plum… I don't have any card stock left – but, based on my memory, Wonderful Wisteria is a much warmer color – much, much prettier and softer. It also goes beautifully with the Concord Crush.
I can't tell you how Calypso Coral compares to the old Coral we used to have. The reason? I always said I would never, ever try to recall that disgusting color. Sorry, but I hated our old coral and never used it. This is a pretty color, but it will be interesting to see how much I use it.
Island Indigo looks like the old Taken with Teal – however, it is a softer color. It's not as intense. I actually prefer it.
So, there you have it. A quick comparison for you. I couldn't wait to do the comparison – and thought that some of you may be interested in it, too!

This is awesome Jaydee! The new blue reminds me of Blue Bayou which was one of my MOST fav colours!!! Can’t wait to hear what else you got!!!!
