I have the details of the OWH drive home for you. Couple of important points:
- Closing date for submissions to be received by me: September 7
- Minimum number of cards to be submitted: no minimum, but you get an entry into a draw for a spending spree courtesy of moi for EVERY 20 cards, with envelopes you provide. So, every 20 cards with envies, gets you one draw entry. If you submit 100 cards, then you get 5 draws.
- Cards should be sent to me and I will sort all of the cards, put the OWH stamp on the back, tuck them, package them and send them off to OWH.
- What type of cards….. look a little further down this post for recommendations and requests from OWH on what type of cards are suitable and those that aren't. 🙂
OPERATION WRITE HOME CARD DRIVE DETAILS
I know that many
of you make more cards than you send, and this is a great way to make
use of your fabulous left over cards. Hey, we don't mind if you make
ones specifically for the drive, either!
OWH has a few rules for cards and I'm going to ask you to pop along to this link and check them out. First and foremost. NO GLITTER! I know that you will read that on the OWH link, but it really is important to remember NO GLITTER.
Even if you send one card in your batch that has glitter on it, it
infects the rest of the cards in your batch, and it is almost impossible
to remove.

WHAT DO YOU GET FOR PARTICIPATING?
Well, apart from the feeling of knowing that your pieces of art will
be much appreciated by a hero and their family members, you also get the

- For every 20 cards that you send – with envelopes – I will put you in the draw for blog candy that I personally provide.
- I offer up one $100 gift certificate for SU merchandise of your choice from the current catalogs

I would love to participate but do know that I am new in card making and probably mine would be extra CAS.
I would post my cards from Paris, but I do have an address in the USA. In case I might participate, to which address I should mail them?

You are so special for organizing this card drive. It takes a lot of time and effort to make it successful time after time. Thanks for giving us a chance to participate.
I urge everyone to take a look at the link you provided. All it took was one look at the picture at the end of it to push me to participate in this year’s card drive. I have a couple trips between now and the time they are due, but I will do my best to make some to send to you. Wonderful organization and so happy you are the middleman for us!
