It's the fabulous Sandy's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a great sketch for us:
It's been a while since I made an "inchie" card and spent a fair amount of time wondering what I was going to put in those "inches". Serendipitously, there, on my desk, was my Endless Wishes set. I realized that I could use the little snowflake from the set to fill out my squares. Pity I couldn't get them on straight:-)
I stamped the small snowflake with silver Encore ink and then used silver embossing powder. I tried to stamp them somewhat randomly. I mounted each square with dimensionals and laid them down on a piece of 110# card stock. The sentiment was stamped with StazOn, because I really wanted a black ink to help anchor the silver snowflakes.

Of course, I had to use my Stitched Rectangles from Lil Inker. 🙂

On a personal note:
The wetland has taken on her fall colors. The yellow flowers have seeded and given way to the bronzes and browns of the grasses going to seed. It really is so pretty. The last two days have been in the 80s – very warm, so summer is trying to show us that she has not had her last hurrah. I can honestly say that I am so glad she is still hanging on. 🙂
I'm hoping to get back tomorrow night with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
