Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday. I can't tell you how glad I am that we are at the "hump" part of the week!
I have two cards for you tonight, both swaps that I received at convention using the Perfect Blend set.
The first one is from a fellow demo in Washington named Luci. I couldn't find a website for Luci so cannot give you a link. I know you will appreciate her card though! I LOVE that she combined so many different stamps on this card and love that she manipulated Yippee Skippe and Perfect Blend together to make that …. well… perfect sentiment 🙂
The next card is from Patricia Brannin. You know that I am going to love the repetition of dots on Pat's card. The polka dot embossing folder behind the coffee cup; the piercing in the circle and the polka dot paper. Then we have repetition of scallops with the two layers for the sentiment and the border. Al also love the color combo that Pat used and the little heart on the stirring stick. Fabulous!
On a personal note:
My thanks to Carol, Janet and Gill who let me know that they will also be joining the Operation Write Home card drive! What an awesome selection of talented people we have participating again this drive. I'm so grateful to all of you. And, I have another video of the troops looking through the cards to share with you. I know you will appreciate it and have an insight into the smiles your cards put on the faces of those deployed – and you can imagine the smile on the faces of the recipients back home. Click on the photo below to be taken to the video
If this is your first visit and you are wondering what I'm blathering on about :-) You can check out the post around the OWH card drive here. We are always looking for more volunteers 🙂
As always, thank you so much for visiting my little neck of the woods. Your visits and comments are always much appreciated. Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Good morning Jaydee! Those are pretty swaps with perfect blend. I really like the mix of stamps on the first one, she was clever there. The second one is adorable with her stir stick. I really like this stamp set but I’m on the fence about it. I’m the same way about tea party too.
Great cards-I love how people use the same stamps and come up with such a variety of cards!
Great video too-I hope others take time to watch it!
a couple of great looking cards.
temperature in Texas @ 5:30pm; 103 deg. Got same for rest of week :{
Hi Jaydee, I’ll be sending you a box of cards for OWH sometime this month. Thanks for all you do and the inspiration you give to us.
Thank you for the video, Jaydee–it made me cry! I see I need to make better use of my time, and making cards for troops would be a perfect way to do so. Thanks for sharing the love.
Fabulous swaps! This stamp set has been on my wish list since I got my first sneak peek at the catty.
I’m beavering away at cards for OWH! I hope to have a decent stack to send to you…I’ve got a big project this week (painting Bitty’s room while she’s away as a surprise!), but I’m hoping to stamp in the evening. I have a large stash to go through as well. Now to go purchase envelopes…
Hugs!
