Pixie Dust Faeries for Paper Players 748

Happy Sunday.

It's the fabulous antipodean Jan's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a fun sketch for us.  I accidentally made two cards for the challenge, but decided to feature the kids card made with SimonSaysStamp Pixie Dust set.  I used this set a couple of weeks ago but featured the flower instead of the magical elements.  You can find that card at this link.

Here's a sneak peek of the card for today's challenge:

And here's Jan's sketch:

I stamped all the images and colored them with Copic markers.  I die-cut them and arranged them onto the DSP.  I did the same with the sentiment.  Here's my card:

Such a cute set – especially as it was one of the sets in my crafty box from Jennifer McGuire.  Man, I still have so many things to use from that box!!!

As always, the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you:

On a personal note:

Well, the garage looks all neat and tidy and everything is in it's place.  All the drawers are labeled and I printed a list of what was in each drawer and arranged it alphabetically with the associated drawer number by the side of the item.  Now, do you think I might get some jobs done around the house?  Still have to see that happen.  Anyone else have a hubby with a to do list that doesn't seem to get any smaller? 🙂

Our two little visitors from a couple of weeks ago were back in the garden again this week.  Mom parked them in almost exactly the same spot and they stayed with us for a couple of hours.  The cats were fascinated for a few minutes, then got bored and went about their business of sleeping!

Look at all those spots!  Sibling was fast asleep:

Such cuties!  I'll be back tomorrow with another card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

  1. I like the magical elements of your card – very sweet for young or old. The way you’ve layered the left-hand block of the sketch makes it really striking and is a great ground for the other elements. The coloured card front looks fabulous. Thanks for making my sketch look so good!

  2. Jaydee… love your sweet card! I haven’t taken fairies out in a long time and it is so good to see them. I can’t believe those fawns. The pictures don’t even seen real. As cute as your card… and I love that they feel so safe in your yard.

  3. Your little pixie faeries are almost as sweet as those little fawns! I always love seeing what’s going on in your craft room AND your neck of the woods!

  4. Jaydee, this is the sweetest card! Look at that adorable fairy and the mushroom scene! So colorful and happy!
Those little fawns still the show though They are precious!

  5. What a darling card, Jaydee and you certainly made the most of Jan’s sketch with your design. I love the fairy and all the other elements. I can hardly wait to see what more you make with your JM box of goodies.
