Hi Everyone
Quick post for you. I wanted to do another version of this sketch challenge with the PPA2 layout.
I used the new Stampin Up Elegant Bouquet embossing folder to create the background. I then filled in the flower petals with Crystal Effects to make them pop. I used a window sheet to cover the background, to soften it and give a little more interest. I then mounted the sentiment from the Season of Joy stamp set on Crushed Curry and Garden Green. Finishing the whole thing off with a little Crushed Curry ribbon and the scallop punch.
I used markers to ink my stamp, so that I could get the colors incorporated into the card stock on the stamped image as well. I loved the way the Elegant Bouquet embossing folder flowers reflected the flowers in the stamp. Pretty cool, heh?
As my basement is still topsy turvy, I couldn't get to my photographic equipment to get a good shot of it. However, I love the way the crystal effects pooled into the petals and really brought them out.

This card is so unique and pretty, Jaydee! I love what you did with the embossed background and the Crystal Effects! Looks neat! Love the stamp you used, too! Very cool Jaydee. Thanks for pointing out the similarity in the flowers. That adds a really neat layer to the detail of this card. Hmmm…I know I have this stamp set buried somewhere in my studio. Wanna bet I finally get the studio organized just in time to move!
