Happy Saturday.
It’s the fabulous Nancy’s turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and she chose a fun code word for us. At first I wasn’t quite sure what I was going to do until I went and did some shopping at our local Kirklands store. I walked in and saw a display of rainbow themed objects and immediately got my inspiration from a piece of wall art.
So, I am guessing by now that you caught on to the theme that Nancy has chosen 🙂 Yep… it’s
I was immediately drawn to the heart wall art and decided that would be my inspiration. But, I did want to bring in the love them from that fabulous pillow. So, I stamped and die-cut an XOXO sentiment from the Tear Strips Tags set – aslo from the greetery. I cut 1/2″ pieces from some scrap cardstock and adhered them onto a piece of white. I die-cut a shapely heart from a piece of Neenah Solar White card stock and adhered it over the rainbow pieces. I then mounted the front panel onto 4 pieces of cardstock cut just slightly smaller than the die-cut frame and adhered that to the card base. The tear strip XOXO sentiment was popped up with a piece of double side foam tape and I added a glimmery heart as the finishing touch. Here’s my card:

I’ll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

I just love your rainbow of colours peeking out from behind that heart. So sweet!
