Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday.
Today was my first day back at work since the weekend. It was great to have a long weekend and get things done. It also means that it is a really short work week this week, too!
I saw a great sketch across at FreshlyMadeSketches and made a card for it. However, I missed the deadline for submission! No-one else has ever done that, right? :-) The sketch was very different for me, especially as it had a left hand top corner element. I had this idea in my head that didn't quite turn out as expected. I thought I would make a Christmas card using the Snow Much Fun set. Have I told you lately that it's one of my most favorite ever SU sets? :-) I thought I would put a snowflake as the element in the top corner. However, it really didn't look that good. Also, I had nowhere to put the sentiment. So, after much huffing and puffing… I came up with a solution to both these problems!
I really love the Gumball Green. I think it's a great color for Christmas cards. Of course, I had to pull out Le Pouf for the snow. I am snow.. I mean so… I love with this stuff 🙂

We are stunned that we have managed to keep these guys around all summer. I couldn't resist this shot!
Do you think he was trying to mimic the metal bird on the feeder 🙂
These guys are still not regular visitors, but we hope they will be over the winter months.
I was so pleased to see the Turkeys come back!

This is such a fun and happy card, Jaydee! Gumball Green has totally grown on me and I agree it’s perfect for Christmas cards. :o) And the Le Pouf–I MUST get some of that! Now to get in the offudio and stamp…yeah, it’s going to happen…sometime soon. Maybe it IS time to get a OWH drive going again. :o) My mojo is so gone right now. Stupid ankle…

You’ll be happy to know Freddie has come out of hiding and actually requested some loving this evening. Whew! Yesterday he had just about the worst day any kitty could possibly have–lost and locked outside, crate (that has been peed in–by you), vet, shots, nails clipped and then a bath. Overall, a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Poor baby. :o( I thought for sure he’d never speak to me ever again since I was at the center of all of his trauma. He’s being quite forgiving. :o)
