Stamplorations Boho Landscapes for Time Out Challenge #311

Happy Thursday.

We have another great challenge for you across at Time Out this week and it’s Pick 2 week! Our sponsor for this challenge is Stamplorations and I was inspired to use a fabulous cardfront called Boho Landscapes. It made making this card SO easy.

I absolutely loved the colors and movement in this card front and decided to do nothing other than add a simple sentiment and a black frame. I really wanted to let the panel shine. The sentiment is also from Stamplorations and is from a set called See the Good.

Here’s a sneak peek:

Aren’t those colors just gorgeous? I LOVE THEM!!!

We are also joined by a guest designer this week. She is the very talented Karen Walker of Random Reflections who was the winner of Time Out #306 as Guest Designer.

Here’s our challenge badge. You just need to pick two words and add those elements to your project to participate in our challenge. Our sponsor is offering up a $25 store prize for the lucky winner of our challenge!

For my card I chose pastels, tree and hope. I did think I could probably get away with earth as well. The layers remind me of the shadows around sunset and sunrise in the gorgeous wild areas of Arizona and Utah!

Making this card was easy. The hardest part was choosing a card base color that would complement the focal layer! I framed the panel with a simple black mat and then heat set the sentiment on Mint Macaron cardstock with opaque white embossing powder. I fussy cut around the sentiment and mounted it onto the card panel.

As always the design team have some fabulous inspiration for you. I hope you will check out their creations and play along with our challenge. We would love to see what YOU create with our inspiration words. Don’t forget the store credit, too!

We encourage you to read Shery’s story and explore the STAMPlorations store, where you’ll find a fantastic range of both classic and new products. Monthly challenges started in January and right now, Shery is running a Spring Cleaning Sale—definitely worth checking out for some amazing deals!

I’ll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Card recipe:

  • Card front: Boho Landscapes – Stamplorations
  • Sentiment: See the Good – Stamplorations

  1. This is absolutely fabulous, Jaydee. You are right about that panel… it is so wonderful in every way and needs no embellishment other than a sentiment and a card base. I love the addition of the black mat. Thanks for this wonderful contribution to this special challenge.

  2. What a beautiful scene! I do love that it also gives an air of peace and hopefulness – so serene, the colors are fabulous.

  3. What a gorgeous landscape card front in such beautiful colors – it really looks like layered die cuts! The sentiment is lovely with the white on your background color paper!

  4. What a gorgeous image – so much depth! Mint macaron was the perfect colour to complement it and I love the black mat! Great sentiment too! Hugs, Kate!

  5. Your wonderful colour selection for this card is amazing! Looking at it reminded me of some of the rock colours in the Australian outback. So rich and vibrant and encompassing the pinks, oranges and reds. Love it! Enjoy your day! 🙂
