Hi Everyone.
It's the fabulous Laurie's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a color challenge for us:
On a personal note:
OK. It's snowing. AGAIN! We are expecting another 3-5 inches today and then more on Tuesday. Oh… and it's still cold! I'm hoping to get into my craft room today. If I do, then I will be back in the week to share the cards and some more photos. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee
Card recipe:

Jaydee… WOWzer! These flowers are gorgeous… I am in love!
Jaydee, Your sweet peas are gorgeous! The stems look so pretty in Smoky Slate, and the “sweet” sentiment is perfect with your flowers!
Thanks, Eliz! I think I’m going to have fun coloring this set – I want to try watercolors next!

Thanks, Su. There really is something about the pink and grey color scheme. It’s rare that I use anything other than white for the base, so it was good to do something different 🙂

Jaydee I love the soft pencil colouring and the contrast with the almost art deco-style block lettering. I can almost smell the scent of those sweet peas – a beautiful CAS card!
I love sweet peas, and your card is gorgeous! My dad grew them in his garden…such great memories!
Jaydee, this is just stunning! I love the sweet peas! Your coloring is just gorgeous! I should try to use pencils more often. Thanks for the inspiration! Stay warm, My Friend! XX
Beautiful card. I’m not a “pink” person and avoid it as much as possible. However, pairing it with grey really changes it up. I like the overall softness but still bright and cheery. Thanks for a great example in a color combo I would never have tried on my own.
Beautiful, Jaydee! What a perfect image for watercoloring! I can’t wait to see what else you do with this stamp!
Absolutely gorgeous Jaydee! I just love the soft lines of the image and your watercoloring is beautifully done, as always. I hope you are getting a little reprieve from the snow. Hugs!
