Hi Everyone. Happy Friday.
I hope you are all ready for a long weekend. Me…. I am thrilled!
My card tonight was created from the Trigger Tuesday photograph across at moxiefabworld.
The trigger inspiration photograph is full of these rich luscious colors. If you expand the photograph you will get a really good look at the fabulous shades of blue, yellow, red, cream and white.
So… what inspired me….
The rug is textured – so I created a textured backdrop
There are many squares and hard lines – the chair seat, the chair back, the cushions, the rectangular windows…. So I decided to create a card with squares
Even though there is so much blue, yellow, cream, white, green…… the red draws my eye again and again – so, I chose to make it a focal color – and use red ribbon.
The room seems like a great place to stand, look out at the sea and drink a cocktail….. ah…. hence the choice of stamp set!
So….. now that you have my inspiration – here's my card….. Pity I couldn't get a decent photograph of it! I really couldn't get the right light… the background is so rich and creamy and the Cherry Cobbler is so much richer….anyway.. here it is!
Of course, I had to use Crystal effects on the drinks and on the fruit! Sure looks like a dirty Martini to me!
So…. what's Feel Good Friday, I can hear you ask?
There is so much in the world to depress me… but occasionally… I read something which brightens my entire day. So, I have decided to share a story on Friday's with you.
If any of you get through this story dry eyed….. It means you will have managed your emotions better than I did. How many of us haven't lost someone – or something (a beloved pet) and wished we could hold them and bring them back to life…..
Well…. sometimes…. it takes a Mother – and a miracle!

I had seen this on television. What a wonderful story. Just shows that medicine doesn’t always get it right. This is a lovely card. I have resisted this set but now…. You are sooo bad on my budget!
