Happy Thursday.
It’s another fun challenge across at Time Out this week and we are being challenged to create a card for a theme that is very close to my heart. I was inspired to ink up a stencil called Nesting Postal Collage Under the Sea Stencil (say that 5 times!!!) from Waffle Flower. Here’s a sneak peek:

We are grateful to be sponsored by Lawn Fawn for our challenge this week. The lucky winner will receive a $25 shopping credit to the Lawn Fawn site.
Here’s our challenge for this week:

I love this theme and there are so many different ways to go. I spent quite a while trying to decide which way to go when I remembered this new-ish stencil. I was drawn to this specific stencil because it reminded me that, when left to her own devices, Mother Nature can fight back and reclaim her space. Just as she has done with this stencil! The fallen buildings and the lost diving hat have all become part of her space and sea life goes on around it.
I love the Waffle Flower Postal Collage series and the NPC one is no exception. They are larger than their original stencils and lend themselves to a fairly clean and simple card.
Here’s my card:

The sentiment is from Alew Syberia Sunkissed Memories.
I hope you will join us and play along with our challenge this week. We would love to see what YOU create with our Mother Nature theme.
I’ll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Card recipe:
- Stencils and dies: Under the Sea, Nested Postal Collage – Waffle Flower
- Sentiment: Sunkissed Memories, Waffle Flower

Lovely underwater scene! Great design using the postage stamp dies.
Jaydee, I love that you looked at the sea and Mother Nature this way. Your colors are just perfect for the scene and you stencil so perfectly! What a great summer card that has meaning beyond the visual.
Brilliant Jaydee as always – a wonderful tribute to Mother Nature! Hugs, Kate!
The underwater world is a beautiful part of Mother Nature’s dominion and you showed us how colorful it can be, Jaydee.
