Happy Friday.
It’s another INSPO challenge across at Festive Friday this week and we have a very magical theme for you! Our challenge festivity this week inspired me to ink up my Dragon Castle Stencils and pair it with the Open Book die and the BFF stamp set from Waffle Flower.

Who can resist a little princess and her dragon?
As a reminder, you do not need to follow our Festivity for the challenge, you just need to include at least 3 elements from our INSPO list. Here’s our INSPO list for this challenge:
I began my card by die-cutting the Open Book die. I then stencilled the castle, and sun and added the magical sentiment. For the recto page I stamped the dragon and princess in Versamark and then heat set them with old embossing powder. I colored them with pencil as I wanted to add some texture to the body of the dragon.
I found an old piece of patterned paper in my stash that was the same color as the out part of my book and added the book to that paper. I popped up the bottom corner of both the recto and verso pages to make it look as though someone had been flippin through the book 🙂
Lastly, I added a single gold star next to the sentiment and my card was ready.

Jaydee, your card is fun and perfect for anyone, especially the littles in our lives! I love that you were able to tie in the background “map” for your dragon book, adding another layer of fun.
