Wetlands for Sketch Frenzy Friday

Hi Everyone.  Happy Wednesday.

This is an early post for me!   It's 8.39 am here Minnesota and we have just finished breakfast.   I'm down in my crafting room and Lou is outside doing a few things before the landscapers arrive to plant the big trees.   So, lots of things going on in the garden again today!

Me?   I'm hoping to spend some time in my craft room working on some cards and maybe playing along with a few challenges.   The challenges really do give me an excuse to get out and play with some of my brand new goodies.

I told you this set was going to get lots of use…. and here's another card using it!

I used the great sketch from Sketch Frenzy Friday (a new sketch challenge that I found on the fabulous LeAnne's website).   Here's the sketch:

I made a tag to fit the image and added a Neutrals Candy Dot at the top.   I stamped the grasses in Crumb Cake and then stamped the goose in StazOn.  I stamped the goose again onto more Naturals White card stock and fussy cut around him.  I then mounted it over the original image using dimensionals.

For the horizontal pieces – I used two different papers from the new Neutrals Designer Series Paper Packs.  I love the new patterns on these papers.  Before I glued them down, I used the new Dictionary background stamp on a piece of Sahara Sand card stock and love the interest it gives to the background.   The sentiment is the Birthday Greetings stamp from the Wetlands set.  I like the popped goose and think I might have to do that again.    I hope you aren't getting too bored of this set yet 🙂

On a personal note:

Feeling much better every day and having some time off work certainly has helped.  No jobs on my to do list have been attempted…. but I do think I might have to do something about that by the end of the week!  I can see the to do list getting longer, but my stamps and paper are calling my name – and that's winning out right now :-)   It feels good to actually want to create again. 🙂

As always, thank you for visiting my little neck of the woods.   Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift today.   Have a fabulous Wednesday

Hugs

Jaydee
