Happy Saturday.
It’s my turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and I chose a theme that is very close to my heart. It was also a great excuse to get out my Altenew World in Bloom dies again! I paired it with the Altenew Wonderlust embossing folder.
Here’s a sneak peek:

I managed to find another perfect piece of patterned paper in my stash. It’s another piece that came as part of some freebie that I got as part of a scrapbook.com order. When I first looked at the paper I thought I might just pass it along to someone else, but am so glad I kept it. It’s the second time I’ve used this set, and a piece of patterned paper from that pack!
Here’s our challenge badge:

I bagan by embossing the chiffon cardstock base with the Altenew Wonderlust embossing folder. I then die-cut the pieces of the globe and the flowers. I color blended the floral elements with my inks and used some old silver metallic cardstock for the mechanical pieces of the globe.
I stamped and heat set the sentiment and adhered everything to the card base. Here’s my full card:

I must say, I’m pretty obsessed with this color of cardstock. It’s just the perfect shade. Not too pink. Not too peach. Not too white. I’d say it’s pretty much a Goldilocks color for me :-). I was also a little iffy about this Altenew die set, but have ended up loving it!
I hope you will join us and play along with our challenge. We would love to see what YOU create with our theme this week.
I’ll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
