Hi Everyone. Happy Thursday night.
Tonight is a very quick post…… I am very late and Lou and I have just gotten back from dinner. Yep.. He arrived home without incident. WOW! So, thank you to all of you for making sure this happened!
We went out to dinner at our favorite restaurant and got to spend some quality time together. Consequently, I haven't had the time to prep a card and get it posted tonight. I promise that I will have a new card posted for you tomorrow, though.
I didn't quite get everything done tonight in order to start my vacation tomorrow….. so, I will end up working tomorrow morning! Sigh. But at lunch time I am signing off.
Today, we got a very small peak of the front page of the new catty. However, not enough that we could really make out anything. So…. the countdown and speculation leading up to 6/1 continues!
On Saturday I will put details out about the card drive. I am so excited that so many of you have indicated you will participate. THANK YOU! You know that you will make a lot of people happy.

Lou has been complaining about how hot it is since he got home. He was in Malaysia for goodness sake…. I would have thought it was warmer there. However, the last two days have been glorious here and the nights those wonderful spring nights that are calm, quite and warm. Just beautiful! In fact, we meet with the deck builder tomorrow to see the plans for the new deck and gazebo. We are really excited.
I wish you all a very happy Friday. Big hugs to all of you for your continued support. I really do appreciate very much your visits and your comments. Trish and Germaine, we know that it is especially difficult for the two of you right now, but we really enjoy hearing from you both.

Whoo-Hooo…Lou made it home! Raise the flags, bang the drums, have a parade!!! I am so happy for you right now. Another morning? Oh no, well at least it will be your last for awhile. Think only good thoughts while at work and have a Wonderful Vacation. I would rather you spend time with Lou, than post cards everyday. I can appreciate how special this time together must be for the two of you. I and the other’s who read your Blog will still be here, but we never know when Lou may leave again. Take time for him now, Please.

After being so crabby at Starbuck’s I remembered all the good things people had done for me there. Like help me with my WiFi, give me a free cup of coffee when I had forgotten my debit card, and free pastries after 2 o’clock. I actually was rather embarrassed. I have made a resolution to try and take things less personally!

Welcome home Lou! Too hot? I was able to venture out of the house one day this week without a cardigan. Finally, I’m warm! I can’t wait to feel the 90 degrees they are predicting for Sunday! Have a good vacation. I may call at noon to make sure you are DONE working!
Yay! He’s home!!! You must be so happy! Well, except for the part of working tomorrow morning……You enjoy yourself and as Patricia has said we will forgive you for taking some time for yourself and your sweetie to enjoy!!!
