Hi Everyone.
Happy Monday. I hope you all had a great weekend. I have a card I made for the latest AAA Card challenge –
Now… CAS a single image and inspired by a TV show. I looked at some of my new stamps and saw this cuter than cute stamp from MFT Picture Perfect and knew that I wanted to use it. What TV show did I have in mind? Well… two really – Top Cat – (showing my age!) and Garfield and Friends. Top Cat was one of my favorite shows and I was sorry that it really only ran for one season. As for Garfield… well… he's everything that cat 🙂
I began with a white card base and added just a little blue shading behind where I was going to place my focal image. I then colored the dog and the cat and mounted them under the polaroid frame. As I wanted to keep everything together and keep the eye on the focal image, I put the sentiment up the side of the image. Here's my card Garfield and Friends and Top Cat inspired card:
I warned you that you would be seeing more of this great set – and I admit to being a little obsessed with my polaroid frame die-cut! This image just makes me smile!

On a personal note:
Our summer birds are starting to slowly return. Including one I saw when I was taking 5 minutes on the deck today. Wouldn't you know it – the only camera I had was my ipad and it doesn't take long range shots… so i have a very fuzzy looking bird that I cannot identify. At first I thought it was a rose breasted grossbeak… but it isnt! Now, I just have to try and find what it is.
However, it was easy identifying this guy!
They are so handsome in their summer plumage and I love hearing their wonderful trilling calls at this time of year. As you can see, the trees are just starting to bud, too!
I'll be back tomorrow with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

I know what you mean about this stamp set and polaroid die cut, they are very addictive! Your CAS card is fabulous! (And I loved Top Cat too!)
