Hi Everyone.
Happy Friday. I'm sorry I took an extended absence from my blog this week, but things have been very chaotic at work. I applied for another position within my company and start my new job on Monday! So, you can imagine just how hectic things have been this week! :-) I am very excited about my new role. It's not going to be easy, and there are going to be some very heavy work weeks ahead of me, but I am certainly up for the challenge:-)
Oh… and I decided, after so many people had contacted me asking about it…. – that it was time for our annual card drive. So, this card – made for the fabulous challenge across at As You See It was the perfect card to make to announce the annual card drive.
Before we get to the details of the card drive, let's take a look at the challenge. Now…. there's a twist to this challenge… it has to be completed in 10 minutes and it is also using a color that I don't use very often!
So… let's get this straight 🙂 Make a card in 10 minutes or less – and make it shades of pink. Well, the only way for me to do that is to use lots of DSP and a sentiment. No time to do lots of fancy stamping… but…. the two step Watercolor Wings is really quick and easy and takes no time at all to fussy cut.
I used the layout from Sunday Stamps from two weeks ago – and I was ready – and in the time frame allowed.

Now.. I can hear you asking what on earth this has to do with the card drive? Well… really good question!!! I promise you it does – all you have to do is come back on Sunday night – and all will be revealed.
I will tell you though.. that this sentiment is the key to the card drive for this year 🙂 I have found two very special recipients for this year and I think you will approve of both. I do hope that you will support both!
