Hi everyone. Happy Saturday.
It's my turn to host the Paper Players challenge this week and I have a color challenge for you. My favorite In Color for this year is Mint Macaron so, of course, this had to feature in my color challenge :-)
I really love the neutral colors with the Mint Macaron and hope you do, too! 🙂
I combined the new background stamp – Watercolor Wash – with my favorite stamp set, Watercolor Wings. I inked up the Watercolor Wash background with the three colors and spritzed it with a little water before laying it down on the thick Whisper White cardstock. I then used the individual stamps from the Watercolor Wings and overlayed them. I then fussy cut around the butterfly and mounted it onto the Watercolor Wash base with some dimensionals.
Here's my card:
I hope you will play along with us this week. We would love to see what you create with this color combo. If you are looking for some inspiration, I hope you will check out the fabulous creations from our design team:
On a personal note:
I've spent many hours today making cards for the new card drive and, because I decided to do some watercoloring, it took me FOR EVAH to make 5 cards! I can't believe how long it took … but.. I was happy with the cards when I had finished with them. It means that I will have some to share with you this week once the new charities have been revealed.
I do hope you will join me for these very worth causes and can't wait to share them with you tomorrow.
Before I go, I wanted to share a couple of photos with you. I love the Lupine's in the garden. They have been blooming for the last 8 weeks or so and still look fabulous.
These guys are still eating us out of house and home… and we couldn't be happier!
I'll be back tomorrow. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight
Hugs
Jaydee
